Associate Pastors Rev. Doug and Sis. Teri Spencer wear many hats in their ministry. Yes, they are associates at Riverdale, and Pastors at Avenal Assembly of God. They also serve as Principal of Riverdale Christian Academy with its 130 students (which is full time job in its self). Doug is heading up our building project along with some other very capable men. As if that is not enough, they have 8 wonderful children. The two oldest are married and have one child each, making Doug and Teri grandparents too. The entire clan, all 15 of them load up each Sunday Morning and Evening and Thursday Evening and travel the 45 minutes to Avenal. They are very talented in music, but more important they sing and play and preach with a wonderful anointing. The Avenal church has grown in the 2 years Doug and Teri have pastored, averaging 55 last year. We are fortunate to have this family ministering with us even on a part time basis. Back to Staff page
